A few impressions of Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland (located on the Arctic Circle) on a beautiful November day! This year (November 17th), the river is not frozen yet and people are up to recreational activities that are usually done in the summer (Moutain-biking, Frisbee-golfing). The Christmas tree is already in the city center, but the white supplement is still missing.
Of course the snow will come soon and it will be again winter until April/May next year, but we all should be aware of the rapid changes in our natural environment! When we look to the North the evidence is striking!
